Photography has been a passion for much of Peter's life but it wasn't until he retired from a career in Engineering a few years back that the luxury of time became available to really pursue it. The primary sources of inspiration and material for his portfolio have been worldwide travel and hiking in wilderness but he has also found wonderful material right in "his own backyard". The most prosaic and seemingly ordinary objects uniquely treated can produce exciting images when viewed through the camera's eye. More recently he has also delved into doing portraiture. You can see some of the results in the latest galleries to be added: "Faces of China and More" and "Faces of Cuba and More". Peter is always trying to improve his technique with the goal of creating images that fuse color and shapes in more unique and powerful ways; always seeking the "perfect" picture. Sometimes everything comes together unexpectedly and by chance. But the eye must always be on the lookout for such opportunities.
